The @Attention Fund

About two years ago, researchers at the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Clinic (DVBIC) at Ft. Carson began a research study on the effects of Interactive Metronome for treating mTBI. The results were overwhelming positive, and published in September 2013 in the peer-reviewed Journal of Neuropsychology. Although the study proved conclusively that IM therapy can assist with executive function, short-term memory, and irritability, among other symptoms of mTBI, we realized full-scale deployment within the DoD and VA systems would take years. So, we made a decision to create the @Attention Fund to advance providing veterans with IM therapy through independent channels.
